Here is a nice little Porringer style table in Cherry with a Curly Cherry top. Table is about 29 inches tall and the top is about 21 by 29 inches. The style is from the mid 1700's and was listed as a "Tavern Table" although I would consider it to be a bit light for that use as those tables were generaly quite heavy for the abuse they suffered. All construction is period correct with pinned mortise and tenon joints between the legs and skirt boards and all surfaces are hand planed. The finish is natural Danish oil and hand rubbed wax.
